Ruth Green completed her BA (hons) in womenswear knitwear in 2009 at Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication in South London. After winning the 2009 British Fashion Council college council and Warehouse competition she went on to launch and sell her collection across the country in Warehouse stores, with showcases during London Fashion Week (Sept 2009).

Following this Ruth went on to complete her MA at the Royal College of Art. Whilst studying at the Royal College she has gained great experience working with and exhibiting at Pitti Imagine Filati in Florence as part of an International design competition. Alongside this displaying her work in Liberty London during Fashion Week (September 2010) as part of the Rowan British Sheep Breeds design competition. Upon graduating Ruth won the Loro Piana award for best knitwear collection at RCA.

In July 2011 Ruth showed at ITS10 in Trieste and won the Skunkfunk sustainability award. Since, she has been working on a sustainable collection for Skunkfunk due for release across Europe in September 2012. Alongside this Ruth is has designed freelance for Rowan, and is working on her own line.

This Spring Ruth has launched her new self titled label, previewing with Who’s Next/Prêt-à-Porter and ARTSTHREAD in Paris and then launching her AW 12/13 knitwear collection with Vauxhall Fashion Scout at LFW.
