This AW 12/13 collection draws inspiration from American quilt making in particular Log Cabin quilts. Taking this traditional technique and giving it a new twist, whilst experimenting with colour and scale of pattern combining this with research into Islamic traditional patterns and engravings. Working with British Lambswool and fine Cashmere’s, the geometric patterns and blocks of colour play with texture and colour proportions across the body. Soft, slouched wool viscose pieces juxtapose more industrial heavy denim layers underneath super soft knits and felts.
