These earrings are an ode to my grandfather's most intimate pieces, jewelry that he gave to my grandmother and my mother and that I inherited when my mother passed away. I've never used them before but I could always feel the emotional charge they held.
I relaunched these earrings as a gesture of transformation, to start remembering them in a different way, with a smile, and to be able to take these jewels out of the box without my heart skipping a beat every time I pick them up.
I drew this collection as a form of therapy. Little by little, I drew this collection and treasured all the pieces that we still had at home, that were part of our memory and our heritage.
