#nofilter is a collection that emphasizes the beauty of each person and honors the differences between each individual. It builds down the typical beauty stereotypes. The inspiration for the collection was found in the life and work of photographer Diane Arbus. With her work, she was trying to normalize marginalized groups and highlight the importance of proper representation of all people. In nowadays world, where media is showing only one kind of beauty people often tend to change themselves to fit this one beauty type which is often causing low self-esteem leading to anxiety and depression. People are trying to fix themselves with plastic operations and "improve" their photos with filters. The collection is a reminder that what makes us interesting is our authenticity. The designer was trying to achieve this impression with her own special techniques of reshaping and retexturing the fabric and integration of transparency which is showing some parts of the body reminding us that we don't need to be ashamed of anything.
