The Greeks used the word "paradeisos" to refer to a garden, but the word is actually of Persian origin and was first introduced to Athens by Xenophon, a student of Socrates. It refers to "a place full of all the good things the land can offer". For modern people, a garden is a spiritual sanctuary, a vitality in the repetition of work routines, an Eden of concrete and steel. A variety of flowers blooming in an orderly way according to artificial design with the time of day, sunshine, and seasons. Unlike the free and unrestrained nature of the wild mountains and forests, there is a restrained and delicate beauty in organised horticulture. All people's imaginations of beauty and romance are hidden inside gardens. Having a garden of your own is the same as having a private piece of paradise within reach.

Yuqi Zeng seeks to translate the essence of a garden onto the male form, intertwining floral motifs with structured silhouettes and functional design. Inspired by the timeless allure of flowers, each piece embodies the delicate yet robust nature of these blooms, evoking an understated yet refined masculinity.
