Floraman

This collection aims to “wear” a garden on the body through the research of pattern, structure and performative function. The aim is to let the flowers take root in the heart and bloom around the body. The starting point for the design methodology was the life of tulip, popular since 17th-century Europe. As the national flower of several European countries, the tulip has great spiritual significance. The project investigates the historical and cultural background of the tulip and analyses the change of shape characteristics of different species of tulips from bloom to death.
