In 1998 he enrolled in the newly-established ESMOD-Beirut to pursue a Bachelors Degree in Fashion Design. In 2002 he enrolled at London's Central Saint Martins school of design, in order to further his understanding of the fashion world.

He returned to Beirut in 2004 where he joined one of Beirut’s most successful couture houses: “Maison Rabih Kayrouz” as senior fashion designer.

In the summer of 2007, he launched his Label “Ronald Abdala”. The label has quickly become known as a new luxury brand in the ladies’ high end ready to wear market segment in the Middle East primarily, securing clients that include multi-brand high-end fashion retailers, as well as private couture orders.

In 2009, Ronald was chosen to be part of the "Starch" association: An initiative set forth by designer Rabih Kayrouz and co founder Tala Hajjar, whose purpose is to expose new young Lebanese talent.

In 2010, Ronald Abdala was one of 7 young fashion entrepreneurs selected for the prestigious Maison Euro-Mediterraneene De La Mode a Marseille to benefit from a unique guidance program between Paris and Marseille. The Maison de la Création is under the high patronage of Christine Lagarde Minister of Culture and Communication and Frédéric Mitterrand Minister of the Economy, Industry and Employment and is also supported by public and private partners.

The Ronald Abdala Boutique opened it's doors on May the 19th, 2011, in the heart of Beirut's Achrafieh District. The boutique holds the designers' current collection, as well as his couture and bridal lines.
