As a collection, Armored conjures a sense of feminine power, rebellion, self-confidence, and beauty, the “femme fatal” archetype. Just as the title implies, Armored is very much about a “second skin”: A fashioned sheath that shields the body - akin to ancient armor, re-interpreted in contemporary forms and fabrics. This “armor” however, is not about protection, but rather enhancement – enhancement of a woman’s feminine curves and beauty, as well as her inner strength.
