H I R U S H I is a Sri Lankan Label based in London and Sri Lanka. Specializing in Hand Embroidery and Ornate Embroidery to create Haute Couture and Ready-to-wear silhouettes. The Collections incorporates themes from nature, flora, history and fauna. Each design begins as a detailed original painting with experimentation and research conducted by the designer for colour and composition leading to the finished design.
The delicate products are carefully hand crafted with attention to detail, preserving the craftmanship and techniques of the long-lasting textile and embroidery craft. Each piece is produced with the highest standard, offering a luxury and tactile feel to every piece intended to be treasured for a lifetime.

Along side the brand, Hirushi has worked for luxury brands including Giles Deacons Couture, Mary Katrantzou, The London Embroidery Studio and Nichole De Carle London. She has also worked on private commissions for brands such as Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Savage X Fenty, Ralph Lauren and SKIMS.

H I R U S H I supports Sri Lankan manufacturing in order to promote ethical labour, craftmanship and sustainable production. Each product is designed in house by hand emphasising the value of sustainable and original design. As a brand we take steps to follow the no waste policy and circular design strategies
aiming to reduce our impact on the planet and be more green conscious.
