Orkidia portrays the life cycle of flowers to provide the viewer with a deeper understanding about the stages of decay and concepts of “life and death”. Capturing its beauty and movement the designer creates unusual wild flower embellishments and decaying embroidery to depict beauty of womanhood.
The collection is inspired by Taxidermy of birds and flowers.
Lavish embellishments, embroidery with a machine work are combined with craftsmanship, detail and depth; while ravishing frayed fabric petals and loose threads hang down to manipulate natures best of decaying beauty.
