Looking into the various aspects of the culture I have been bought up in ,Looking at the vibrancy of the festivals and bringing them to a contemporary collection of knitwear and woven pieces.
My aspirations are to showcase these aspects of my religion into a new and innovative knitwear collection, which will have been inspired by my own knowledge but also further research and investigation into Hinduism, through personal experiences, photographs of religious occasions, i.e. the festival of ‘Holi’ (the festival of colours).
