At its core, this collection is an examination of a pair of identical twins: one who smoked, the other who didn't, one who died of emphysema, the other still living. Ravenna took this concept - inspired by her grandmother and great aunt - and added color, lightness, and humor. Combining the concept with hot air-balloons, a prevalent part of her upbringing in New Mexico, she breathed life into this collection which inflated and deflated on demand.
