During this time, women were expected to be immaculate, with perfect makeup, hair, and attire, including tight corsets, high-waisted pants, and heels, all designed to highlight their supposed physical perfection. Unfortunately, we are still experiencing these pressures in our country today, with many expectations placed on women regarding their appearance and behaviour.
