For his first collection Jonathan drew inspiration from Jennie Livingston's 1990 documentary of the same name. The film follows the beat of the fashion obsessed in New York's legendary 1980's nightclubs, where "voguing", cross dressing, and extravagance became a personal expression of pride. The collection is about that fearless outlook-- unabashedly signifying who you are, entertainment through rebellion, without any compromise to looking fabulous.
