Entering the third season, i-am-chen looks to further develop its playful and light-hearted style influenced by the attitudes and philosophies of Alexander Calder and David Hockney. Working with the newest knitting machines, i-am-chen experimented with seamless knitwear and achieved a major breakthrough in this technique. As an all-knitwear label, it is interestingly the first time i-am-chen uses traditional knitting materials such as wool and cashmere. The AW18 collection is a clash between fine yarns and masterful use of color inspired by the Fauvist creations of André Derain.
