My project represents my personal struggle, as well as that of many humans, with accepting my own humanity. As a society we have come to feel shame for the most basic of needs, this phenomenon has been exacerbated by the uncertainty and stress that surround the current political and health climate. The needs I am focusing on in my collection are the two most prevalent in my own acceptance of what it means to be human: food and love.
