The research for her Spring Summer 2016 collection started by looking at the economic crisis in Greece. After visiting the newly refurbished Acropolis Museum in Athens, It was classic Greek statues placed on modern and rectangular plinths that caught Federica’s eye. This interesting contrast between geometric and soft shapes triggered her inspiration.

It all developed by looking at the balance between the old and the new and its beautiful outcome.
The aim of the project was to explore the versatility of the Greek statue.
