When designing, Bazza Alzouman likes to explore or combine seemingly different inspirations to create something beautiful. The SS18 color palette was a reference to beach sunsets, so there are multiple shades of blue, pale pink, sand, and white. The collection aims to create classic evening wear, but with a twist. For SS 18 she drew inspiration from 90’s grunge while keeping the pieces feminine and wearable. The beading used is a simplified checkered pattern based on the popular flannel shirts that were worn at the time.
