The collection takes inspiration from the classic Latin American novel One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel García Márquez. The characters of One Hundred Years of Solitude go from room to room in a damned house, as a symbol for solitude, an existential trap which carries on through each generation of the Buendías. “They see in the mirrored walls infinite reflections of their fevered imaginations”
