SPIRE DRESS

SPIRE DRESS

SPIRE DRESS is a fully 3D printed garment. The piece was digitally designed using computational geometry and parametric design in collaboration by Alexis Walsh and Ross Leonardy. Made up of over 400 individual parts, the 3D printed components are produced in a zero-waste process and assembled together by hand. SPIRE DRESS has become one of the most iconic examples of 3D printed fashion, and is referenced in a number of textbooks and academic journals as a pioneering moment in design.
