AG Silver

Samantha Silver is originally from Southern Iowa in the United States. She completed an undergraduate degree at Iowa State University finishing with a BS in Apparel Creative Design and a BA in Performing Arts Dance. Samantha attended Ravensbourne to complete an MA in Fashion. Her Master's collection, Papilio Corpus, was based on the transformations and fragility seen in butterflies and moths as they age. The emphasis was on unique patterncutting methods utilizing transformational and deconstructive techniques. Moving forward she plans to keep experimenting with these methods to create more garments that transform in both shape and print.
