Zara Tentriabeng is an Indonesian fashion designer that finish her master study at politecnico di Milano in fashion design. Her previous education also includes a bachelor of fine arts from the Art institute of Chicago, IL. USA. Her style are always incorporating unusual materials in to her fashion items. She is very much inspires by some industrial design items or items that we saw in everyday life and she would elevate them in to a wearable art. Her design also shows a lot of geometry and quirkiness. Her fist line of bags Hexagon was launch with a collaborating exhibition with Milan Design Library, for Milan Design Week 2014. Her bags are sold around the world based on custom order.
Zara Tentriabeng Bags and accessories are now already been sold based on custom order to Europe, Usa and in Asia. Her current achievement is being acknowledge as one of the finalist for Young Indonesian accessories designer.

Hexagon Bags

Hexagon is a line of hexagonal inspired design bags and shoes. A combination of geometric shapes with incorporating unconventional items such as using customise design laser cut wood panels and metal brass. The accessory line consists designs of satchel bags, sling bags and clutches. The unique and one of a kind design is more considered as a fashion art wear.
The designs shows symmetry and the technique to produce this artwork is by combining the customise laser cut brass, and traditional geometric Indonesian wood carvings in forms of hexagonal shape that are bolt in to the bags. Raw finishing are used both the woods and brass to accentuate the ethnic part of the design. The technique of laser engraving to the metal panels is also used in creating these unique Line of accessories.
These design are using natural warm colours of woods such as rustic brown, burgundy red and dusty beige, by combining these natural colours with the laser cut brass made these design look modern yet exquisite and will attract younger viewers. These design will also show dimensions of heights by the layering technique of the materials
