The designer insists on a slower and textured lifestyle, and refuses to chase after the so-called fashion trend. As a designer from China, Yuzi keeps exploring the combination of oriental culture and the western aesthetic.

The vibe of the brand is reflected in every detail of the garments. From the choice of high-quality and endurable fabrics, textured buttons, and fastenings to the deliberate preservation of handmade marks, the designer wants customers to feel tranquility when touching the garments. Yuzi offers an alternative with a postponed design style, only releasing collections once a year with multi-seasonal choices of fabrics and garments. The collection is released gradually every two months to keep customers fresh and expecting.

The studio keeps running in a relatively small space located in a quiet hidden corner of a modern city, with a few staff. The space is open for visiting and workshops once a year, offering loyal customers a chance to participate in the design process. In this way, the brand could stay close to customers by communicating directly. Garments would only be made when the customer orders to save resources.
