Since founding her namesake label in 2003, Yenny Bastida has embarked on a mission to help shape and define sustainable luxury in Latin America. Yenny Bastida is a luxury pretaporter wear brand that celebrates the beauty of artisanal craftsmanship through unique, sustainably handmade pieces.

Bastida's designs are inspired by her native Venezuela, blending cultural tradition with modern femininity. Each piece is a testament to the designer’s dedication to sustainable luxury.

In 2009, Bastida pursued a fashion business course at Istituto Marangoni in Milan. After completing it, she felt she needed to do things differently with her brand. So she gathered a team of talented women that work from her studio as well as satellite teams of artisans working from other regions of the country.

Today, Bastida has not only made a name for herself using traditional techniques and her bold, feminine aesthetic, but she has also made a significant impact on her community. For example, she created Puntadas para el Futuro ("Stitches for the Future"), a social program that helps female workers care for their children by providing tutoring, daycare, and meals.

Cōlere, un testimonio del compromiso de la marca con el cultivo del patrimonio cultural y la moda sostenible. Inspirada en la palabra latina, Cōlere es una colección de piezas meticulosamente hechas a mano que encarnan las últimas exploraciones textiles de Bastida y la investigación de nuevas técnicas artesanales. Es un regreso a las raíces de las comunidades locales de Bastida y una profunda conexión con la tierra.

En materia textil, Cōlere destaca la innovación de los tejidos que mezclan algodón orgánico con curagua, fibra natural cultivada y procesada en Aguasay, ubicado en Monagas.
