YANYU CHUNG

Raised up in Hong Kong and went abroad to UK to pursue her study in arts and design. Since graduating from Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design in 2013 specialised in Fashion Design Womenswear, she has founded a group called Point Blank ._ with an architect, Adrienne Lau to create design projects in a multi-disciplinary approach such as art, culture, film, fashion, photography and set designs. During her time at CSM, she has been adventurous and experimental on working with different kind of themes and concepts in order to gain a more in-depth understanding of her personal aesthetic. Fabric manipulation has always been her strong focus when designing. Instead of big silhouettes or funny shapes, she appreciates more of the subtleness of a piece of garment with great quality of the fabric, intelligence in cutting topped with interesting details.
