Ukrainian designer Ksenia Schnaider founded her own clothing brand X'U in 2004.
Ksenia obtained BA degree with honours in Fashion Design from Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design and created her first prêt-a-porter collection at the age of 19. Since then Marchenko takes part in Ukrainian Fashion Week on a regular basis.
X'U brand could be easily portrayed with three main words: sincerity, simplicity and freshness. It is based upon clean minimalistic silhouettes and precise, considered tailoring. The garments are very wearable yet they emphаsize the unique features of every person who chooses X'U.

IN LOVE

The heroine of the new Ksenia Schnaider collection is young girl, who fall in love. There is blossom of bright pink peonies, purple violets, dahlias inside her soul, and this riot of colors reflects on her clothes. She used to live like a rock star and wear black, but changes that occur, faced two worlds. World of usual routine, which includes sporty elements, strong silhouettes, night shadows… And the world of fairy-tale fantasy with vivid flashes of color, silk, transparent blouses and marvelous dresses.
She drowns in the world of colors, but trying to save that to which she was accustomed. The collection is built on contrasts of colors, textures and silhouettes.
Designer crosses strict elegance with excessive expressive, combining sporty cut with elegant materials, austere black with a floral designer blasts finding a delicate balance.

Fabrics: silk, cotton, brocade, velvet, zhakkard, crepe de Chine, chiffon.
