XINQIYI

Xinqi studied her master degree of fashion and textile design specialised in fashion at the Swedish School of Textiles

Xinqi was born in China. She did her BA studies in fashion design and engineering at Si Chuan University.Her BA is focused on pattern making and production design which set up a basic apparel and textile technology knowledge for her later MA studies in a more innovation concept design development.
As a signature of her life or hand writing, with a strong willing to convey the theme of canon from East to West by deconstructing the traditional Chinese paper cutting technique into a new fashion form. She wants to express her personal aesthetic view of fashion context through culture roots.
