Xiaohe Shen

Xiaohe Shen is a New York based jewelry designer. After received MFA degree in Metal Craft and Jewelry Design from Rochester Institute from Technology, she moved to New York. With more than one year’s working in high end jewelry studio, Xiaohe started to create her own design on 2015.
Xiaohe considers jewelry as small construction that have intimate relationship with human body. Influenced by contemporary minimalism art, Xiaohe absorbs the inspiration from modern architecture and sculpture. Her work combine artful geometric form with the purity of metal’s texture and color, to achieve the balance in aesthetics.
All works of Xiaohe Shen are handmade. Her designs cover from fine jewelry which made of 18K gold, diamond and precious stones to contemporary jewelry that made of sterling silver and semi-precious stones.
