Xavier is a young designer born and base in Barcelona.

From a very young age he as maintained a high interest in fashion and design however he originally started his studies in law, but soon discovers that his true passion is fashion. After one year in Esade bussines school, he studied Fashion design in FD Moda School in Barcelona. Soon after, he did various internships for very different brands (from sport apparel to luxury pret-a-porter) to get complete view of the industry.

In 2012, with his gradution collection, he has the opportunity of being part of the Beijing fashion week; he won the prize of Best graduation collection of the year and being finalist in different international contests of young designers.

For Xavier fashion is a way for scape from reality and create others worlds to dream of . His creative universe and inspirations come from History, literature, different cultures mythology and the glamour of Hollywood´s golden age. All this translates into ultra femenine garments with a hight dose of drama and sophistication with “happy ever after” excentricity.
Because fashion it´s no more than a game to make life more funny.

Latest Collection

Forgotten Empire

My collection is based on theories about the lost civilizations developed throughout history. From Plato’s Atlantis to late 19th century writers, this theories talk about advanced societies lost in time and memory that were the origin of human cultures.
I imagine my own Atlantis. For design the pieces, I mix different ethnic and historical aesthetic. Hand embroidery with delicate floral motives (hardly inspired in eastern cultures) and reworked in a kind of patchwork creating masks or organic shapes.
For create this lost world and designs too, I do a research work of ancient civilizations and current ethnics groups. The inspiration isn’t limited in the dress way of the cultures; I use shapes and motives from architecture and art too.
I want to do an ethnic inspired collection but in more romantic and feminine way and at the same time you cannot recognize a particular culture in them.
This collection it’s about going back to the care and attention to detail of haute couture and every piece is a unique artisan work.
