Having a fine art background, I enjoy a conceptual approach to my Menswear.

I have just finished my BA Hons Menswear at UCA Epsom, finishing with my Final Project entitled 'East vs West.

It is a print based collection, drawing up ideas of both the East and West, and how the East has contaminated the West...
To represent this idea of contamination, I collected samples of my own bacteria and grew cultures in petri dishes.
From this i used the outcome to produce 'dotty' type prints, over kimono type Eastern silhouettes.

The outcome is a mixture of soft tailoring, offset by prints and the coalition of shapes from the Occidental and Eastern world..
