Anca Stirbacu is a new media artist/ designer based in Bucharest, Romania.

She graduated from the University of Arts Bucharest and studied at Interface Culture Linz.
Her background is photography & video, but she is also a music performer, being part of the electronic music scene with Hipdiebattery, the support for her visual projects and interactive installations, as well as for her adventurous experiments with different music genres.

Anca is also the founder of Ro Select, a platform that gathers young & fresh romanian designers, including her recent fashion design project, Warp Hood.

AW 14-15

Besides her collabs as a musician and new media artist, Anca Stirbacu has been putting a lot of energy into Warp Hood, her personal clothing label which combines 3D designs with smart and sporty garments. The 2014/2015 collection consists of basic items such as unisex bombers, unisex sweaters, bags and represents her attempt to explore the possibilities of digital printing and digital graphics in fashion. Being inspired by the development of the 3D artistic community, Anca plays with warped, twisted & artificial textures and objec
ts to create sharp and bold designs.
