Petra Vuletic was born in 1990, she is a Master student at ESMOD, Berlin, finishing the programme in 2015. During the Bachelor studies she established a brand VULETICHORTIG with her colleague Sasa Hortig. They received several awards and much recognition as a result of their collaboration. At the moment they both scrutinise the personal notion to design, while finishing their Master. Petra's vision of design is playing with the concept of wealth disparity, contrasting the destitute with the prosperous. The core idea of the brand is to embody the elements of contradiction in one unit. The brand's philosophy is to respect the value of classical beauty in every part of collection, interpreting it from progressive perception.

CONTRADOCTORY FASCINATIONS

Contradictory fascinations is the final Master project of Petra Vuletic from ESMOD, that was shot by photographer Evelyn Bencicova with make-up artist Petra Sever. The core idea was to draw out the contradicted elements throughout the making of this S/S 2016 collection.
Naturally tanned fur is a high volume by-product of the food industry. Used in interior design, its potential beyond this scope remains untapped. This untamed fur is combined with beautiful peace silk to engender an opposing element to unsophisticated touch of fur. Aesthetics of the collection was inspired by the silhouette of Richard Serra's sculptures, in which he displays the significant unification of stiffness and the natural flow of delicate fabrics.
