"Modern Renovation of Architecture" is inspired by the contrast of post modern and modern architecture. Walter Benjamin’s (1892) concept of an ever-changing jetztzeit suggests that our present is continuously created from the shifting fragments of the past.
Likewise, today the constant development of new buildings means an intriguing visual of both post modern and modern architecture can be seen together in one location.
In the "Modern Renovation of Architecture" collection, this is explored through the fabrication and use of modern materials, as well as the innovation of classic female silhouettes.
