Vivat Novum

Reilly began her design journey after losing her job in broadway costumes at the start of the pandemic. in an effort to re-skill to find work in a post-covid world, reilly became deeply involved in the sustainable fashion sphere and founded the unisex loungewear brand Vivat Novum. During several months of unemployment she volunteered with a NYC-based non-profit working to help detox the fashion industry while designing a collection to help bolster her portfolio for job applications. This work helped her land her dream job at a sustainable tech/apparel company and independently take her designs through development and production. reilly draws much of her inspiration from designers like Gnyuki Torimaru and costello tagliapietra as well as from post modern furniture design.
