VITASTA

Aditi Vitasta Dhar graduated from The National Institute of Design and started her design career with Mexx International, Holland as part of their accessory design team. She went on to work with the top brands in the country including HiDesign, Pondicherry. Having worked with leather accessories for many years, she found a lacuna in the Indian market for an accessory label that encompassed a range of chic day bags to glamorous evening clutches without sacrificing on quality or design and being accessible in price. With this in mind she launched her eponymous label VITASTA

In 2011 she showcased at Lakme fashion week to critical praise. She has also collaborated with other established designers and recently with Nishka Lulla for her runway show at Lakme Fashion week 2013. Vitasta currently retails at high-end boutiques stores such as Taj Khazana (Taj Hotels), Bombay Electric (Mumbai) and has now extended globally with an e-boutique.
