Vicko Racetin is fashion designer based in Zagreb, Croatia.
His fascination with human body, anatomy, mind and behavior is big part of his conceptual work.
His design space around different diseases, mental disorders, also bits of nostalgia from personal life and search for lost memories.
Vicko graduated from collage with his final collection called "[grand]-pa".

[grand]-pa

The purpose of this master's collection is a research of clothing artifacts, aesthetic features and the way of dressing in the 1990's in Croatia. The three stages in memory process (encoding, storage and retrieval) are the main inspiration for creating a nostalgic fashion collection. The goal of this project is to successfully visualize a personal nostalgic elements and, with a modern approach, transform them in a contemporary fashion design. Fashion collection [grand]-PA is based on a memory, and finding the lost moments of 1990s. The photographs of old family gatherings are served as a visual inspiration for clothing elements, patterns and accessories in this collection.
