This project is born from a personal concern. Our way of acting and the decisions we make, as individuals inserted in Western societies of the 20th century, are determined by advertising flows that design our behaviors with respect to our appearance and ways of dressing.
I wonder if we really are free.
I am interested in revealing how these factors are a limitation for young Chileans when defining themselves, behaving as replicas of visual models and codes imposed by a free market dynamic.
It is from this concern that this project is born as a possible search for freedom, breaking with established stereotypes and codes.
Through this research, through design, we seek to break the inertia that we have in front of the codes we consume. See how design becomes a tool to make us aware of our perception.
