Undefined Jewelry

Founder Kiera Junghyun Kim received her B.A. double majoring in Fashion Design and Business Administration in South Korea. After her career as a vendor and fashion stylist, she joined her family business as a marketing team lead to launch Italian label in Seoul. During her career, she gained extensive experience in the industry by working with Carharrt, Vogue, W magazine, MCM, and Swarovski, to name a few.

After some time in the industry, Kiera became frustrated by the fact that individual designer’s artistic minds do not get substantial credit. Kiera decided to create a brand platform to celebrate individual artistic creation and sustainable production methods. She incubated the brand concept throughout the whole program at Parsons The New School For Design and founded her first own label after 8 years of experience in fashion industry, Undefined Jewelry in 2017. She graduated as student representative of Parsons and Co-chair of The New School student senate, honored to be part of platform party. Shortly after she graduated Parsons, Kiera was invited as a guest speaker in Merchandising class at Parsons The New School for Design to share her insights and experiences in fashion industry and about her brand, Undefined. Recently she was invited as alumni speaker at Alumni Event in at Parsons in May, 2018.
