THE TRANSIENCE - (Tran - See - Ahnce) - for a life in transit
A series of essential travel bags and small leather goods that draw from the transience of millennial life and the functional demands of an urban ‘on the move’ lifestyle.
The collection is sporty and architectural with a distinctly unisex appeal. The pieces are constructed using a non-traditional ‘folding’ technique which heavily influences the contemporary, geometric aesthetic of the label.
Each piece in the collection is hand cut, sewn, and individually number stamped In our New York City studio using fine quality leathers and fabrics, Riri zippers.
The Transience was founded in 2013 by British designer Sarah Clarkson who lives and works on the collection in New York City with a team of local leather seamstresses.
