Tour De Force is a London- based label born out of a vision to challenge associations through the interpretation of the literal, and a love of 3-dimensional form.
Designed by Central St. Martins graduate Camille Roman, there is an ongoing sculptural quality to the aesthetic which honours the body's contours. Camille created bespoke pieces for Musicians, Celebrities and Editorial Shoots alongside seasonal collections and collaborations.
Accessories and garments are developed through innovative processes of construction and detail development.
The label strives to create a sumptuous luxury looks that entice the empowerment of the conscious dreamer.

AW11 'Effette' Collection

Using numerical systems to communicate with her living admirer Orpheus, Eurydice is destined to return to her effete land. Inspired by death servant in the film Orpheum by Jean Cocteau, the colour palette draws from variations Of volcanic rock and uninhabitable landscapes, perfect for the uncompromising Femme Fatale. This season, Tour De Force has used solid rubber forms and silhouettes to divide, contrast with, and capsulate fluid and manipulated silk and chiffon drapery and layering.

Looking at the bold architectural rubber sculptures made by Richard Serra in the 1970’s, 3-dimensional structures were created for the accessories and garments in rubber to cast shadow and create depth volume around the face and body.
Lava and wood-grain inspired prints have been laser-cut form rubber sheeting so that they fan around shapely areas of the female form.
