Founded in 2015, The TOMMY ZHONG brand is jointly owned and operated by Tommy Zhong and Jenny Nelson.

The brand focus is on creating original, modern, ageless and versatile tailored pieces. Superior attention to detail at the Atelier delivers quality that is self evident in the fabric, structure and design.

Unique fabrics are developed in house with with emphasis on hand finished textiles.

The two founders work together to combine Eastern heritage and aesthetic with Western creativity, design and workmanship to build a new kind of international dynamic within a brand.

Autumn/Winter 2016

Referencing the artists’ studio, and taking inspiration from a painters’ lifestyle the textiles and prints were the starting point and inspiration for the collection.
Looking towards the artists uniform for inspiration the collection features oversized and easy to move in silhouettes, with an influence of classic tailoring and design details. Paint splashes and brush stroke prints are reinterpreted with screen print foiling and flocking techniques, with raw edged finishings giving a contemporary feel to classic fabrics and shapes.
