Timi Hayek creates hand-made & unique illustrations on silk scarves and dresses, inspired by mythology, history and nature from her boutique in Beirut.

Her work is deeply rooted in historical, mythological and artistic research, highlighting the importance of preserving cultural heritage and the natural world.

Timi hand draws the entire collections herself. They are hand-sewn slowly and thoughtfully, and therefore don’t follow the fast paced fashion schedule. Everything is hand-made in a sustainable and organic way. Delicate silk materials are individually hand-rolled and hand-stitched, imperfect yet beautiful.

in 2010 she won the Liberty Arts Fabric award where her winning print design was sold at the renowned department store Liberty & co. in London. In 2012 she received her BA in Fashion Print from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, having already worked with Marc Jacobs in Louis Vuitton and Jean-charles de Castelbajac in Paris, as well as McQ for Alexander McQueen in London.

Phoenician mythology

This collection is inspired by Phoenician Mythology and Lebanon's beautiful nature.
the entire collection is 100% silk and 100% handsewn. The illustrations depict ancient Phoenician deities, such as the goddess Astarte (later known as Aphrodite or Venus in the Greco-Roman world) or the ever-youthful Adonis, the rising and dying god from the sacred waterfall source in Afqa, Lebanon.
The circular themes of death and rebirth are explored with the Phoenix bird, also closely woven into the fabric of Phoenician mythology and history.
Lebanon's magical and resurrecting nature is captured in another print illustrating the sea, the butterflies and the flowers in spring time, juxtaposed with the snowy capped mountains in the backdrop.
Each silk dress and scarf has a story, which is written on the tag. The scarves are presented in white Timi Hayek boxes, making the perfect gift to a loved one.
