THREE CHEERS AND A TIGER

THREE CHEERS AND A TIGER is a creative collaboration between Gilles Engesser and Santosa Lauw.
After graduating in fashion design at the Academy of Arts & Design FHNW in Basel Switzerland and the La Salle College International in Jakarta Indonesia they launched their own brand in 2006.
First international reactions followed their Autumn/Winter 2008/09 collection which was chosen among the finalists of the Createurope Fashion Awards in Berlin. About a year later they were invited to present their AW 2009/10 collection during the St. Andrews Charity Fashion Show in St. Andrews, Scotland.
Inspired by the different perceptions of shapes and aesthetics within their cultural backgrounds, the duo explores new interpretations of contemporary men’s wear. Their design reveals a rigorous and at the same time sensual understanding for the silhouette, featuring slim assymetrical cut dress codes allied with more casual and blurred looks.
