Theikona stands for Divine Ikon /

Theikona is an offering to the unknown depths of the divine and fate.

It is an exploration of the mystic, the ancient, and the cultures and communities that are hidden.
Revealing them in an evocative way, giving it a modernity that allows it to be a part of the now and accessible in the everyday. //

What makes a culture breathe? What gives it life? What is the underlying root structure that binds us? //

Consider us the storyteller that focuses on the rituals and ethos of culture. /

Our Design Studio works with Artisans who handcraft long lasting, precious goods. We take pride in our work and keep the culture of American Made by manufacturing in New York.

We take the time and care to create beautifully handcrafted goods sustainably. We don’t support the wasteful fashion model of overproducing and wasting products and resources. Our designs and goods are meant to be created without season or trend and are loved and used for years. Theikona is a luxury fashion studio that promotes slow fashion and craftsmanship that is drowning in a fast fashion driven world.

Contours Collection

Inspired by the divine and the spiritual, the Contours Collection looks to the spiritual lifelines originating from India.

This exploration is based around the invisible but visible. It focuses on subtle contouring and shadowing to create new forms. This is done by playing with textures of leather to create edgy, modern shapes, as well as using the latest in technology to contour complex images perfectly with Laser Engraving.

The Mandala and the Mala Bead are two prevalent spiritual symbols not just in India but throughout the world.
One of the most ancient and holiest of symbols in India - the Mandala permeates all spiritual life. It represents the Universe with a circular icon. The universe’s cyclical nature is shown in the rugged revolving mandala image on the bag.

The sacred Mala beads are seen worldwide across cultures throughout the world. They are prayer beads made from the Rudraksha seed of a tree in India used to protect the wearer from evil. Inspired by the many temples that carry them, we contoured the rough and raw shape of the Rudraksha beads hanging on a string with Laser Engraving.
