TASSEL YING

Ying is unique, there are two things she has a great enthusiasm for. The first is travelling to know different cultures around the world. Tassel [Ying] has been inspiring by her life experiences taken from Tibet to Europe.

The second is researching the application of knitting technologies. Ying has studied and worked as a knitwear designer for over 10 years both in the UK and China. Her knitting technologies enable her to have a different approach to her knitwear design; she is always looking forward to building on these areas with more innovative methods so she can keep her designs fresh and exciting.

Now Ying has bought a STOLL knitting machine and set up a design and sampling studio in the UK, Aiming to create cutting-edge knitwear pieces, and interpret the fusion of cultures between folk to urban, east to west with handmade looks.
