Currently I have just completed my final year of Fashion design BA, with recent experience working as a studio manager/design assistant over the last few months.
Aiming to develop and build on the skills in the design side of fashion, particular interest in designing for the high street.
I am focused, professional, a key team member, easily inspired, extremely hard working and dedicated. Keen to learn and absorb any information given to me.
Appointed year representative for the past two years due to my organization, good team leading, excellent people skills, and being able to juggle not only my design work, freelance/intern and also representing the year.

EVERYTHING inspires me. I am interested in all aspects of art, music, film, photography and design; fashion is my passion as I can incorporate all these interests. Aesthetically, the clothes I like to design are functional, luxurious, tailored with a twist!

'All about her'

“LOVE IS A KIND OF MENTAL ILLNESS”

When in the stage from ‘lust’ to ‘love’ the chemical stages in our brains are the same produced when experiencing mental illness. It’s because of this fine line between lust/love and mental illness that infatuation, addiction, obsession, idolization, fixation and fantasy-based thoughts can occur.

But where is this fine line?

It is this fine line i wanted to decipher in this collection. I chose to show this idea thought the collection using tailoring as the element of control and the deconstruction and delicate elements representing the loss and also the fragility in every strong woman.

In my design work i am always thinking about ‘The woman’. She is always my first inspiration, and so the title of my collection 'All about her' came easily! She is always strong, independent, driven, and never fazed by any challenge! She is always ‘that woman’ who walks in a room calm, and you notice how sleek she is and cleverly put together!

My designs have always lent towards androgynous women’s tailoring and working for a menswear designer was a great experience and really broadened my knowledge of finishes and details to clothing and also inspired me on the idea of ‘the suit’. Matching trousers and jacket with a shirt, I wanted to make this contemporary for ‘my woman’.
