'Tania George’ is a contemporary ready to wear woman’s clothing line from Jordan. Our pieces are colorful and quirky. All of our items are uniquely handcrafted by local tailors from around the Middle East who inherited their skills from their parents and grandparents.
Yes, we can produce abroad. True it will be cheaper, but that’s not what we are about. Um Bayan from Palestine, Seta from Iraq and Abdel Razzaq from Syria are our very talented tailors in charge of producing our collections. Their unique approaches and techniques is what makes Tania George what it is, a company that values heritage.
Our motto is to have fun while creating our work, which is exactly why our designs come out so playful and funky. We are heavily inspired by the hidden gems of everyday life and try to highlight their beauty through our prints.

Our “Amman, Irbid, Baqaa, Sweileh” collection is inspired by the 3rd world chaos of my hometown Amman highlighted beautiful details like musical gas trucks and excessively decorated pick up trucks. We like to play with our own world of illustrated prints and handcrafted works. We also used traditional embroidery techniques with modern impressions.

Our latest collection ‘Chibs, Bibs, Canary’ AKA RECESS, is nostalgic simplicity. This collection explores the youthful joys we experienced growing up in Jordan; the happiness we found inside a bag of local chips or the whistle of the cotton candy man passing through our neighborhood.
