Sushchenko

SUSHCHENKO is an independent clothing label based out of Barcelona, Spain. Combining the science of technology with the art of fashion, SUSHCHENKO creates evocative, vivid and extravagant clothing for women. SUSHCHENKO is particularly influenced by the demoscene subculture, and its themes of freedom and self-expression. Label was founded in 2015 by Natalia SUSHCHENKO, native Russian and a graduate from the University of Westminster, IED Barcelona. A student of technology her entire life, she began learning computer graphics at a very young age and began her career as a graphic designer in Moscow. Later she was awarded a scholarship to study fashion design and moved to Barcelona. Since then she has become a veritable expert in a variety of techniques including digital textile printing, footwear design and patternmaking. Her talent has not gone unnoticed: She was named a finalist in both Modafad and Inspirare competition in Vancouver Fashion Week. With a particular eye for patternmaking and silhouettes, she focuses on combining textiles with complex prints, working with colour and shape. With her keen eye for unique fabrics and modern technologies, Natalia founds her own personal style and mood.
