Sur/Sac Barcelona

SUR/SAC is a brand of accessories designed and produced entirely in the city of Barcelona. Its designer and alma mater, Ana Gallego, studied fashion design at the ESDI School in Barcelona before going on to complete a postgraduate course in bag design at London’s Central Saint Martins. Following a 10 year career in fashion marketing and communication, in 2013 she decided to set up her own business.

The brand’s philosophy, based on impeccably refined, contemporary designs, highlights the potential of local industry, with handmade items that reflect passion, commitment and skilled craftsmanship. Her vision is rooted in the slow fashion concept, advocating a place for sustainable fashion, echoed in the production processes and classic designs created to last. Her collections, from the design to production phases, are made entirely in Barcelona’s finest specialised workshops using materials of the highest quality.
