Superated was established in 2005 by Designer Peter Holzinger and his business partner Christian Moser.
The Superated minimal yet complex take on pattern making and design is a nod to some of the heavy
weights that the label’s designer Peter Holzinger has trained under - masters of maximalism and
minimalism –Vikor&Rolf and Raf Simons. Noted for his class tailoring, Holzinger’s key to success is
making the conceptual, wearable.
A Viennese mens and womens wear label that explores the duality of genders existing in all of
us, Superated breaks traditional codes and reinterprets them into their own visual language by creating
a wardrobe expressing authenticity and individuality.
His clothes are about "the rebirth of self-appropriation, and propose clothing that is aware of the
body but also appealing to the intellect. Intelligence is the sexiest aspect of a person." as quoted in Interviewmagazine.com
By mixing exaggerated shapes and innovative details with classical tailoring, Holzinger proposes fashion
that has an element of surprise—a sense of humor along with utilitarian elegance defining the signature
Superated style.
